Chippy's Workshop on ITV's This Morning: a Father's Day table for #PimpMyShed
In June 2016 we had a message we weren't expecting. The senior producer of ITV's This Morning got in touch to ask if we'd make a personalised table for the show's #PimpMyShed feature.
It was a Father's Day surprise. This Morning had asked viewers to send in videos telling them why their dad was the best in the world, and they chose Simon, nominated by his four daughters. Simon is a big fan of classic Minis, so while the family sent him away for the weekend, celebrity gardener David Domoney and a team of ten turned his old shed into a Mini themed bar.
Our part was the personalised table, made especially for Simon and his family, and ITV credited us for it alongside the other companies who helped. The table top was a collage of the family's own photos laid over the front of a classic Mini. We've blurred the photos in the picture at the top of this page for the family's privacy. The finished shed was revealed on This Morning on Monday 20 June 2016, the day after Father's Day.
