Burstner Lyseo Shelf System
Our shelf system fits across the divider panel between the kitchen and the seating, mounting on the headrest posts. It gives you a proper shelf above the worktop for a coffee machine, an air fryer, phones on charge, books, or anything else you want to hand.
Handmade to order in our Somerset workshop from laminated plywood, light but strong, CNC machined so it fits properly and looks like it came with the van.
Please Check Your Seat Base Before Ordering
Burstner have used two different seat bases in the Lyseo. This kit is made for the frame with a flat top, where the metal frame under the head rest is flat all the way across as in the pictures.
Pull the seat cushions forward and have a look. If the frame is flat across the top, this is the right kit. If there is a raised block in the middle where the seat belts come through, you have the newer base and will need our version with the spacers, so please get in touch before ordering.
The newer base is fitted to the Burstner B66 and to some later Lyseos, so please check the seat itself rather than going by the year of your motorhome.
Choose Your Shelf
Slim Jim, 937mm x 160mm
The compact option, neat and out of the way. Good if you have a drop down bed and would rather leave the shelf in place when the bed comes down.
Wide Boy, 937mm x 250mm
Deeper and more useful day to day. Room for a coffee machine or an air fryer. If you have no drop down bed, this is usually the one to go for.
Wide Boy Notched, 937mm x 250mm
Same size as the Wide Boy, with a notch to clear the window surround fitted to many models from around 2020 onwards.
Finish
Choose Lava Grey or Verona Cherry above to match your interior as closely as possible.
Optional Gallery Rail
A stainless steel gallery rail can be added using the selector above. It keeps smaller things put while you are travelling or parked on a slope.

Other Things Worth Checking
Burstner changed the Lyseo seating area a fair bit over the years. Many models from around 2020 onwards have a window surround behind the seat. If yours has one, go for the Notched version, or the Slim Jim if you would rather the shelf sat alongside it.
Our photos show the most common upholstery, where the top of the seat back sits below the divider panel, so the cushions tuck in neatly under the shelf.
Some vans have taller upholstery that sits level with the top of the divider panel. On those, the shelf can hold the seat back slightly away from the panel, leaving a small gap behind it. We have built in about 10mm of adjustment to cope with the differences we have come across, which covers nearly every van.
